No need to be in two minds about our winner this week. It's Farrar, with 6 votes. A crowded field for 2nd place sees Phil Maurice, kirby101, codystarbuck, Hoosier X, foxley, MechaGodzilla, String, and Crimebuster all scoring -- would you believe it -- 2 votes each! And no split decisions needed to determine third, with hondobrode, chaykinstevens, Robe Allen, bert, batusi, james, MDG, outsider, and tarktintino receiving 1 vote apiece.

Nobody Picked this One ... I saw this morning by accident researching logos and I've remembered this cover and kicked myself in the pants for not posting it in the first place!

I was really surprised not to see this one: I considered that one, but thought the other Supergirl cover was more in line with the contest theme.

I was really surprised not to see this one: I almost went with that one too. But much as I love Supergirl, I don't think it's a great cover. The split face just looks off to me. More than it should, I mean.

More than it should, I mean. Yeah--it's Sekowsky, who's a favorite of mine, but the whole figure looks off. And in either the art or the coloring, they should've provided some separation between the red glove and red cape. On the other hand, I really like the head in he background.

So is the new cover contest going to pop up any time soon?? Or are we going to dwell into the what might of been past?? Some folks only check in once a day at different times, many not until after work, so it sometimes takes time for a winner to get his notification and start a new contest. Be patient. -M
