Last month, in honor of Black History Month, the African-American employee group at work offered a Black Superhero Trivia Quiz. I ended up being the only participant. The quiz is still online, and its creator gave me the OK to put it out to online fandom. Here's the link to take the quiz: testmoz.com/1597370It prompts for an email address but doesn't seem to do anything with it. It doesn't let you leave a question unanswered, so it's your choice - guess or google. I didn't find a way to get it to tell me the right answer on the one I got wrong. I still think I was right, but the way I answered confused it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Let us know how you did and how you liked the quiz - the creator will be happy to have more people enjoy his efforts!

15 out of 20 because I never read anything with Blade (or watched the films), did not read Spawn (beyond the first few issues), did not read anything other than NTT with Cyborg, GI JOE after the first 8 issues, or much Marvel after about 1983, apart from a few specific titles and mini-series. No idea about James Rhodes after his first stint as Iron Man, other than he became War Machine, in comics I had no inclination to read. Thing is, for a trivia quiz about black super heroes, it's pretty thin on the breadth of black superheroes. Nothing about Black Lightning, Vixen, no Lobo (an adventure hero, rather than superhero; but, an antecedent), no Milestone (at all), no Strike (Eclipse Comics), no Tyroc, etc, etc.... I can accept being more Marvel-centric, over DC; but, the complete absence of Milestone is just plain sad. These were characters of color, by creators of color, from a company owned and run by people of color. How do you leave that out? Static even had a fairly popular animated series!

I got 12 out of 20. I wish it gave the right answers at the end. Most of those I missed I don't know enough about to care too much about the right answer. But I'd sure like to know where Blade was born.
EDITED TO ADD: I looked it up and it's London. I probably should have known that.

I got 18 out of 20. What embarrasses me is that one of the questions I got wrong related to the Titans, one of my favourite books.

18 out of 20. Missed on other name NOT associated with T'Challa and missed on what name NOT used by War Machine. Both of these i haven't really read much of since the mid 80's so feel I did pretty good on the quiz.

14/20 correct. I've never read a Gi Joe comic or watched anything related to it. Blade I've read very little of and guessed on where he was born. I didn't even have an answer to type in #15, about the "smaller winged companion" of Falcon, but I had to put in something to submit the test. The other three I got wrong were ones I was pretty sure of but just got wrong.

17/20 but I hit "Hal Jordan" instead of "Jon Stewart" when the cat snuck up behind me and meowed right in my ear.

19/20. Surprised myself. Missed the GI Joe question. Haven't read it.

16/20 or 80%. Did not know other aliases of Cyborg or Rhodey (other than Iron Man of course) (Thought Norman Osborn was the Iron Patriot.) Didn't know Blade's birthplace or the Shaq movie. Totally guessed the G.I. Joe answer right.

I got 19/20... I don't recall 'Hulk Machine' at all.. I guess I'll believe them though. I definitely wouldn't have gotten the Blade answer if I didn't see you guys post it, too.

19/20 and amused that they mixed up Jon Stewart (who definitely is neither a Green Lantern nor African-American) with John Stewart. Only missed James Rhodes alias. I knew Blade was British due to him being part of Paul Cornell's MI13.
