The full Superman panel is availble to view on SXSW Youtube channel....
Panel included Dan Jurgens, Jim Lee, Frank Miller, Brian Michael Bendis, Cameron Welsh (exec producer of Krypton) and a pair of writers from the show Nadria Tucker and Lina Patel.
Topics include Action 1000, favorite Superman stories, the future of Superman, what Superman means, discussion of the Krypton show, Miller's Superman Year One, Jurgens legacy on Superman, and Bendis upcoming run and Lois Lane.
One particular nugget I liked came near the end of the panel with Bendis discussion what Clark's choice to be a reporter meant to the character and how it's one of the few decisions he has made and didn't have made for him, and how that informs his take on the character.
It's an interesting panel and the participants all come at Superman from different perspectives.

What happened to Frank Miller. He is my age and looks 90!
I know, a lot of interesting talk, but that was my first reaction.

What happened to Frank Miller. He is my age and looks 90! He's looked pretty rough for a few years now. I remember a thread about 6 or 7 years back, over at the CBR forums, speculating that he had cancer. I don't believe that he does, but he really does look unhealthy, that's for sure. It's probably them pesky Islamic terrorists wot did it to him.

I saw Frank Miller in the late 90's and stunned by how he looked ... This is a 2017 picture of him and Stan Lee together ... He's looks older than Stan Lee! Thanks for sharing this ... mrp.

Drugs and booze will add the years to you. Yeah, that was the rumor I heard, though not with any real credibility behind it. Even in his younger days he looked thin and a bit gaunt. Might just be genetics Not all of us can be blessed with a babyface. Well, I say blessed; but, it wasn't much of a blessing when I was a brand new ensign, at 21, looking about 14 (16, on a good day). Comes in handy now, as no one believes I am 51, though no one asks for my ID, anymore, for booze. If he has/does have a problem, he wouldn't be the first. From Howard Chaykin's own admission, he looks pretty good for all of his issues with substances.

Might have spoke too soon. This was from 2014 and I would say there was a definite health issue there. Might not have been cancer; but, it looks like something pretty nasty. I'd say he actually looks better in the photo with Stan!
