Hey all, thought I'd start this party off right. Given that this site looks like it draws fans from both of the major Comic Companies I thought it would be wiser to give the name a broader range than it had in the Hall of Justice where it was named "Latest D.C. Related Acquisitions Thread" My collecting has always been DC based so you won't see much in the Marvel way from me. anyway, to start things off here's my latest arrivals JLA Classified Aquaman (Water Hand) DC Direct Pocket Heroes Aquaman and Black Manta (any DC in-house merch produced prior to Sep 2011 I refer to as DC Direct as opposed to their current Name DC Collectibles) and the current state of my Aquaman Shrine As my friends from the Hall know, I've been on an Aquaman tear of late. I personally believe Aquaman was cool long before Geoff Johns came along (the way DC and such promote it, you'd think Aquaman was still stuck in his Super Friends mold before 2011)

I like how you have your comics set up. Do you keep all your books in bookshelves like that?

Thanks. I thought maybe there was some line of Silver Age inspired toys for me to fret over.
$40 shipping! My goodness.

Thanks. I thought maybe there was some line of Silver Age inspired toys for me to fret over. $40 shipping! My goodness. The surprising part is that it has bidders with charging that much for shipping. Madness.

I checked other auctions by that same seller for similar items (Green Arrow/Speedy and Wonder Woman/Wonder Girl) and the shipping is only $10.50. That shipping has to be a typo.

Thanks thankfully Aquaman's unfortunate reputation with the general public has made finding his figures relatively easy and (with the exception of the Smallville figure,) relatively inexpensive. I still have roughly twenty or so figures to add before I consider that section complete but so far I am very happy with the way it's growing

If anyone is into Star Wars here, I just picked up the 3 new Rebels vehicles at Target today. I didn't see any of the forth coming figures, but the vehicles are now on store shelves...
