General thoughts and impressions:
100 (tie). Valerian and Lareline: The Empire of A Thousand Planets
by Pierre Christin & Jean-Claude Meziers
Have never read. Seen a few Trades here and there but not caught my attention. The movie helped put back in my thoughts so possible purchase in future
100 (tie). Justice (2005)
by Jim Krueger, Alex Ross, and Doug Braithwaite
Read and overall enjoyed. Nice tribute to the old Superfriends cartoon.
100 (tie). JLA: The Nail
by Alan Davis
Not read this but Alan Davis art always attractive, just not sure on his writing?
100 (tie). Grendel: War Child
by Matt Wagner, Patrick McEown & Ken Henderson
Never read
100 (tie). Gardner Fox's "Crisis"
by various
Have read all of these in some form or another. Good classic DC.
100 (tie). Elric of Melniboné
by Roy Thomas and P. Craig Russell, adapted from works by Michael Moorecock
Read but I'm not a big Elric fan. Was interesting but traded it once read. So not that memorable for me.
100 (tie). American Way
by John Ridley, Georges Jeanty & Karl Story
Never Read
99. John Sable, Freelance
by Mike Grell
Read em all. Very well done artistically and writing. Some great stuff outside the regular cape and tights crowd. What it means in trying to be a real hero.
96 (tie). Solar: Man of the Atom: "Alpha & Omega"
by Jim Shooter, Bob Layton, and Barry Windsor-Smith
Never read
96 (tie). Silver Surfer: The Ultimate Cosmic Experience
by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee
Read this in the day if only because of Kirby. Sad can't remember much of it.
96 (tie). I Am Legend
by Richard Matheson, Steve Niles, and Elman Brown
Never read
95. Avengers: The Korvac Saga
by Jim Shooter, David Michelinie, George Perez, Sal Buscema, David Wenzel, and Pablo Marcos
Classic Avengers story. Different take on God like powers and what happens.
94. Conan The Barbarian, #1-100
by Roy Thomas, John Buscema, and others
Have read many but not all. Like Conan and this was classic stories and art all the way through
93. Avengers: The Old Order Changeth!
.
by Stan Lee, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby
Read many times over. The 1st ever changing of the guard for the Avengers and while shows its age at times it still is wonderful comics for me!
