Inspired by the Splash Pages thread, I've been contemplating making some collages. I'd appreciate if y'all could share some "clean" shots with me that I could trim around for images. Here are some shots that are unobstructed by the objects or words that would work well : Hela here would work well. Mister Miracle would as well. Vision here would be good but Yellowjacket would not. Captain America here would not with the Hydra agent obstructing part of Cap. Could be ok of Swampy here if it weren't for the snake. On the border. Appreciate the help, gang !

Does it have to be splash pages or can you use figures from any panel ?

Collaging eh! Are you going to print these off and create the collage? I had similar aspirations, except I was using actual comic books. I have a stack of 50 books or so that were really rough (missing covers, torn and tattered) and I clipped some of the cooler images from them. Among the stack is the Marvel Index which has some great still images of every character. Not sure how I would display them all so I am interesting in seeing your own finished piece and know how you put it all together.

I wouldn’t have thought of her but those are really good shots.
The classic Thor is great too.

Since I know for sure you'll want to have all MY favourite characters, here's Thena from Kirby's Eternals: I sold my complete set of Kirby Eternal books about 10 years ago. Man, I would love to get them back.

How crazy is the world we live in now that you can do this from internet pics to cut/paste and print? The olden days of yore you would either cannibalize and destroy your comics cutting out such pictures or you had to trace/copy or draw up such figures for creating your own collages. The advances of the times can sure be handy!!!

I don't know what you consider "classic," but here's a nice Michael Golden shot of Acroyear. I thought he took the toy designs and turned them Kirbyesque, as you can see from the warriors behind him.

I have a print of this same cover autographed by Michael Golden I'm going to mat and frame.
Yeah that will definitely be in there.

Does it have to be splash pages or can you use figures from any panel ? any and all as long as they're clear shots of a character

Hmmm, not so sure I'd like to see that. Even in the comics, no one has really done a good job with them since Kirby and while the studio has produced entertaining movies, they haven't shown the kind of understanding of the source material they'd need in order to transfer the Eternals to the screen.
