Glad to see some action. I met Loebs at a GenCon, back in the early 90s; but, enjoyed his writing, going back to Justice Machine (the original Noble Comics magazine version) and Journey. Superb writer, with real humanity in his work. Also a damn good artist, with a Will Eisner quality to his work, as Journey can attest. His Epicurus the Sage, with Sam Kieth, is brilliant. Hilarious, too. That is something aching for a movie, live action or animated. It would be great fodder for Pixar.

Someone like Fantagraphics ought to reprint 'Welcome to Heavan, Dr Franklin' as well. I'd buy a copy. Or a new edition of Epicurus. The originals had very small print runs and no promotion.

There was a collection in 2003, with the two original Piranha Press graphic novels and some later material; but, I believe that, too, is out of print,

My copy of the Journey trade that I ordered arrived today. The story was everywhere for a day or two but now seems to have fallen below the radar again, so I hope people are following up on this, that Hero Initiative has contacted him and that people are still giving to the Go Fund Me or ordering collections of his work to help the cause.
