That makes me want to hear my favorite Ozzy songs -- I Just Want You and God Is Dead.
Edit: Though now Closer by Nine Inch Nails is playing on my iPod now.

Carly Simon signs Nobody Does It Better/Spy Who Loved Me Song - 007 Roger Moore Film
I pretty much listen to this about 2-3 times a week for kicks.

Because it was mentioned in "Smart-Aleck Kill", a Raymond Chandler story I was just reading, Sweet Madness - Adrian Rollini and his Orchestra (with Benny Goodman, I think I read somewhere when I was searching for it):
Youtube is fantastic for situations like this. I use it all the time to look up songs I never heard of when their titles crop up in things I happen to be reading.

Far from one of their better known songs, but it's a good track with some good riffs. Very Tony Iommi-esque as someone pointed out earlier. While I typically prefer their earlier days, I think the "sellout" albums are sorely underrated and unfairly maligned.

The first album by A Place to Bury Strangers. Never really heard them before, except I think on a movie soundtrack not too long ago, but sa-w the CD cheap on Amazon Marketplace & so went for it. Pretty decent so far; reminiscent at times of early Jesus & Mary Chain, which isn't a bad thing at all.

Since sombebody's desktop in my computer filled English classroom decided to emit a high frequency sound that won't quit, I've jammed "I Want My Tears Back" by Nightwish in my ears. Though it changed to "Romanticide" (also by Nightwish) half way through typing this!

I've been on a quest for more classic 80s thrash metal similar to early Metallilca/Megadeth/Slayer/Anthrax/etc lately that I may have overlooked. There's not a whole lot, but I've found a few decent ones. The names are a little embarrassing, but hey, it's such a niche thing you take what you can get. Listening to a lot of Death Angel now. They're not bad.

I'd like to be listening to, or at least ripping/burning, the 6th track, "Artificial Gravity," on the bonus disc of Wire's Send Ultimate reissue from a few years back, but it's scratched (not sure how it ended up on my floor in the living room, or for how long, but unfortunately it did) & won't play or rip beyond about the 2-minute (out of 6-odd) mark. About to apply some Brasso to it in hopes of remedying that.

Ugghh, I hate scratched CDs when I try to rip. It makes me angry with myself for neglecting my CDs as much as I did. I've heard buffing it with plain toothpaste may help, but I've never tried it.

Hmmm. I've heard that, too, but forgot about it till you mentioned it. If naught comes to naught with the Brasso (or, failing that, toothpaste after I get home this evening), I'm sure I can find a friend in my Wire-aholic circle who can at least rip me that one track.
