I like the song but that repeating guitar riff reminds me so much of the bit from Pink Floyd's "Goodbye Blue Sky" that goes 'Did, did, did, did you see the frightened ones', etc, etc that it's distracting.

I hear some slight similarities, but they are not exactly the same. I can understand, though, how the repetitiveness of that guitar could be annoying. Thanks for reminding of me of another album I need to get. I owned that album on cassette, and it's long gone now. I had the album and the movie. That album is sooooooo great.

Grooving to some Robert Randolph and the Family band-I just love the sound of a pedal steel guitar played right...
Ain't Nothing Wrong with That!
love the video for it, but as a fan of live music over studio stuff...the same tune performed live on Letterman...
covering a classic pop tune and giving it a whole new vibe...
covering Hendrix's Voodoo Chile...
So let's get Amped Up...

One of my favorites! Do you have "Spike", too? If not, you should get it. It's one of my most fave EC albums. I think it's the perfect "middle ground" album out of all his stuff. And it's brilliant.
