I had sushi again. I wish I'd had a BLT and coleslaw instead.

Exhausted but starving after being at the con all day and not eating since breakfast, so it was quick pick me ups...just made a couple of chicken cutlet sandwiches with honey mustard dressing and provolone cheese for dinner, plus had a slice or two of the pizza my wife heated up for herself.
Last night at the roast I had fish and chips and a pint of Guinness while my wife had salmon patties, mac-and-cheese, and a twice baked sweet potato

Shrimp po-boy (monstrously overstuffed, as is the wont at this place -- a couple of sandwiches ago I decided to actually count the shrimp, & the number was right at 3 dozen, which is to say enough for 3 or 4 po-boys at a normal place), red beans & rice & a shrimp roll from one of my favorite places in town, oddly enough adjoined to a gas station a few miles from me.

Had a BLT Sandwich, Side order of Coleslaw, and Pumpkin Pie for dessert today. Never have been a fan, but I love sweet potato pie desperately.

I've never tried pumpkin pie, but pumpkin ice cream is good.

I've never tried pumpkin pie, but pumpkin ice cream is good. Pumpkin Pie is fabulous and make sure that you have a little dab of whipped cream - If you have a Denny's near by stop there and have a piece of Pumpkin Pie there and you will be hooked! One of my favorite pies ever!

Trust me, if a pie isn't meringue it will have a LARGE dollop of whipped cream.

First time I'd had it -- basically a shrimp in a very thin, small egg roll wrapper (so maybe more like a spring roll wrapper?), fried. Might be something the owner/cook came up with; he's Vietnamese (well, American, but I think first-generation) but grew up & takes his cusine from Cajun country. He offered it when I ordered an egg roll (never had their version of that, either, but had heard great things about it), which they were out of. Vaguely reminded me of shrimp toast as much as anything, not that I've had that in decades.

I had takoyaki before I went to the biker run because I thought there would only be like one hot dog vender there. Turns out there were a bunch of awesome food vendors, but I was so full already.
Oh, I had a chocolate soda today too. It tasted like a Butterfinger bar. Other flavors I remember are Key Lime Pie, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate with Bacon, Bacon, Buffalo Wing, Peanut Butter and Jelly.

Sunday afternoon dinner was chicken cordon bleu with some noodles in alfredo sauce as a side. A couple of slices of fresh French bread from the market bakery with butter too.
