Carls Jr. I didn't want to cook and couldn't decide where I wanted to go so I took the easy route. Kinda regretting it, which is the feeling Carls Jr always leaves me with. I should have had seafood.

I was able to eat some chicken and rice soup! I've been putting it off every time we go to Logan's Steakhouse, and since I don't feel well, I decided to try it, because, hey, chicken and rice, right? And, I sort of regret not trying it sooner...By bad...

Amy made fresh banana muffins for breakfast (shh! don't tell DE Sinclair he missed them ). We were at an estate sale for part of the afternoon and had a late lunch from Hardees (Amy had some coupons so we stopped there on the way home). Just got in form work and haven't really had dinner yet (had another muffin), but there is a little bit more turkey alfredo left I might heat up here in a few minutes. -M

A turkey wrap from Costco. Also have a salad, don't think I'm going to get into that until tomorrow though.
For lunch I stopped by the swap meet, I was hoping for a gyro but the gyro stand wasn't there. I found a new fish fry cart though. Got the sampler. Wings, fried fish, french fries, and fried mac & cheese nuggets. My first time having those. Having them again isn't high on my priorities, but trying a new thing is always good.

In honor of DE (short, I'm sure, for "Don't Even ..."), supper last night including a large, & of course extremely good, banana pudding, along with far more meat than I normally eat in a week & maybe a month. An FB acquaintance has opened a BBQ place across town, so I went there & availed myself of a brisket-topped baked potato & a pulled-pork sandwich (I actually asked for chicken, but the girl -- who was really engaging & nice, read: cute as hell -- heard pork, so that's that), as well as a heavenly side of mac & cheese. (Note: I am a fiend for mac & cheese.)

Last night my wife made cheese empanadas with shrimp inside. I ate 2 or 10 myself.

I've had some kind of cold that just won't leave me alone for well over a week now. As a result, I made my special cure-all dish tonight.
shaxper's 100% Vegan Organic Spicy Tomato Garlic Chili - four can of organic tomato paste - a few cups of spring water (I never measure exactly) - 1 organic spanish onion (diced) - 8 organic garlic cloves (diced) - 2 organic bell pepper (diced) - lots and lots of organic spinach leaves - more chili powder and cayenne pepper than you thought the human body could safely ingest - a dash of black pepper because there isn't enough pepper in there already - 1 tablespoon of sea salt - 1/2 cup organic extra virgin olive oil
Feeds an army (or one sick shaxper for about a week)

Grilled chicken legs, some basted with Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauce, some with French's Honey Mustard Sauce, and the remainder with Sweet Baby Ray's Buffalo Wing Sauce. My wife and daughters ate the ones with the BBQ sauce, leaving the rest for me (both tonight and as leftovers, as none of them will eat anything reheated.) Steamed broccoli and buttermilk biscuits rounded out the menu.
