I have a large appetite and can eat a lot of food in one sitting, except sushi. The little packages at the grocery store are usually too much food for me, and an actual sushi place, way too large a serving. I don't know why that is. I can eat a pound of rib eye without flinching, but a pound of ahi will last me three meals easily.

I can eat lots of sashimi, but when rice enters the mix I eat way less. Except today. I had 15 pieces of sashimi, 5 pieces of sushi, a California roll and 2/3 of a bearkat roll (which is about 25% longer than a normal roll).

Never eaten sushi. Seriously doubt I ever will.

Yum, sushi! I had sushi for lunch Saturday at my favorite place, where they have a $20 all-you-can-eat deal. I had 9 orders of various nigiri, for 18 pieces total, so a nice deal (still pricey for lunch, but cheap for sushi).
I've even started considering going there again this weekend....

Minimal night for me -- an almond-milk shake with soy ice cream & some Hershey's caramel sauce.

Amy had made up a batch of egg salad, so I had a couple of egg salad sandwiches when I got in from work.

Italian (with Meatballs) Spaghetti, Italian Steam-Veggies, Sourdough Bread, and Water to drink. Im not sure if I could decide between the two but sourdough and rye are the greatest breads.

I hated rye bread as a kid, having been very unimpressed with a sandwich (I guess) I was served at age 8 when we visited Hemisfair in San Antonio. Learned to really like it in, I guess, my 30s. Interesting how one's tastes can change as one's early knee-jerk impressions wear off -- see also, in my case, tomato juice, tomato soup, sauerkraut, greens other than spinach (the latter of which I've never had a problem with), no doubt a few other things that aren't occurring to me.

I don't know if I had either bread as a kid. Probably not. Mostly all that was kept around our house when I was young was whole wheat bread. My father was very convinced of wheat over white, so most pasta was wheat, bread was wheat, etc. It even went so far as my mother making lasagna, topped with biscuits instead of layers of pasta.
Sauerkraut was also something I liked later on in life, but didn't as a child. The Ruben could be one of the greatest sandwiches ever created. I also enjoy it on hot dogs, bratwurst and polish sausage (kielbasa).
I like V8 (just you know the "black coffee" version of it, not that "Starbucks" flavored crap) but never could stand the taste of tomato juice. Though I do like tomato soup. Especially with a grilled cheese or grilled bologna and cheese sandwich.

It even went so far as my mother making lasagna, topped with biscuits instead of layers of pasta. Good god in heaven. That explains so much ... none of it good. Yeah. I'm not exactly one to sit around & eat it by the forkful, but on reubens & hot dogs ... yes, please. Ummm ... say what? Evidently, V8 has changed drastically since I last paid attention.

I'm not sure when they came out. Probably within the last 5 years or so it seems. I don't buy V8, a lot, most of the time single serve from a convenience store when the thought occurs to me.

Yep -- nothing I'm familiar with. On the extremely rare occasions I buy fruit or vegetable juice -- it's been years (I mainly just drink iced decaf green tea) -- I stick to store brands.
Can't even remember the last time I was in a convenience store, especially now that I pay for Citgo at the pump with my debit card. (Which I resisted doing for probably well over a decade, preferring instead to pay with cash inside. Not sure why.)
