The annual comics show (now rather boldly called a comic con) was held in Zagreb this past weekend, and Stan Sakai was the guest of honor. I thought the folks here might want to see a few pics I snapped.
Here he is on the first day (Friday afternoon) doing some sketches for fans:
On Saturday evening, he delivered a talk on his process, during which - obviously - he drew a lot of stuff...
...including a series of "thumbnails" in which he created a comic showing the day of a woman sitting in the front row...
...which he then signed for her along with a sketch of Usagi:
By the way, I posted a brief write-up on the comic show (and the local SF convention happening the same weekend) at the Atomic Junk Shop in case anyone's interested; there's a few more pics of Stan there as well.
