Voting for this category has concluded. The results are as follows: Nominated and Seconded:rberman@strider Outrajschromehead_____________________________________________________________________________________ The original post: (See the Advance Warning before participating) Nominations for The Jasper Sitwell Award for new member whose activity has most benefited the community1. Please post no more than one nomination for the new member whose activity has most benefited the community during our third year of the CCF (between April 30th, 2017 at 9:22pm EST and April 30, 2018 at 9:21pm EST). 2. You must explain why you are nominating this thread. 3. Please second no more than one nomination made by another member. You may not second your own nomination. 4. Any nomination receiving both a nomination and a second will be included in the final ballot for this award on July 1st. 5. Nominations and Seconds for this round conclude at the end of June 30th. 6. Absolutely NO negative talk about another member, nor another member's nomination. The very purpose of this event is to salute our members and their contributions for all they've added to this community. Though only one thread will ultimately receive this award, you have the potential to thank and maybe touch members with any thread you choose to nominate or second. Please don't use this opportunity to hurt or deflate someone. Here is a list of members (in order of join date) who joined in our fourth year and posted at least ten times (technically, someone with less than ten posts is also eligible, but I thought I'd make this more efficient): darrellshiryu@strider LovesGilKaneLuis H. I nominate @strider as he posts/participates regularly in existing threads along with his creating new and interesting threads and thoughts. And the beard is dashing and distinguishing!

Duragizer -- His Superman Stories and well his Star Wars and Stargate stories were wonderfully written and I was thrilled to see a new entry in his thread. I just wished that I could write as well as he could. His stories brought new JOY to me and I've loved reading them. His talents should not go unnoticed here and truly a Jasper Sitwell Award recipient.

I'd like to nominate Outrajs. Though she hasn't visited the forum since April, it was great to see some new female blood come into the forum -- especially when they were so warm to other members and enthusiastic about the medium of comics. Also, her Wonder Woman-themed episode of the CCF podcast was one of the most fun and enjoyable instalments of that series so far.

I nominate chromehead. He dove into this community like a long-lost friend, deeply immersing himself in numerous discussions with tremendous enthusiasm and passion. I've also been enjoying his Peter David on Spider-Man review thread.
