Wonder Woman is getting a new creative team in November starting with issue 58. G. Willow Wilson and Cary Nord take over the book story. I am a big fan or Nord's work on Conan and Wilson's Ms. Marvel was a great read, so I look forward to seeing what their run will be like. -M |

Probably won't buy it, but I will definitely check it out. My local library had a 20-something female librarian who frequents the same LCS that I do, and she stocks a wide variety of TPBs at the library. She gets a good amount of the titles that have mainstream appeal (Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, Captain America, Black Panther, Flash, Iron Man, Walking Dead) but also lots of female-centric books like WW, Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Thor, and Supergirl, as well as books from female creators. She does a really nice job with the collection and always has new stuff for me to take home.

Huh, what is happening to Ms. Marvel? Wilson is not leaving Marvel, she still has "other irons in the fire" there as she put it in a tweet. Not sure if she is staying on Ms. Marvel or something else at Marvel, but she is not exclusive to either Marvel or DC, and is doing stuff for both plus supposedly a new series for Dark Horse to be announced at SDCC. -M |
