How about that weird period at Marvel when exclamation points were under strict ration ?Not only did you hit all three types in one statement, you managed to wrap both declaratives into the form of a question. This is Jeopardy-level stuff, Alex Trebek would be proud.

Obviously they had used up so much of their stock in the previous years, there weren't that many left to go around.

An interesting tidbit from J David Spurlock on Facebook
I believe it was not uncommon at DC to have a cover done and the story created from it.

An interesting tidbit from J David Spurlock on Facebook I believe it was not uncommon at DC to have a cover done and the story created from it. Not only was it not uncommon - rather frequent, in fact - it was still being done at least some of the time as late as 1985. Brian Bolland showed up with a Superman cover and Julius Schwartz had Elliot Maggin write a story around it.

I like Betty's Laurel Kent outfit.
Is that second excerpt by Gene Colan?

I know there are some fans of Ernie Bushmiller's Nancy here on the forums, so thought this might be of interest. The Billy Ireland Museum of Cartoon Art in Columbus, OH will be having a Bushmiller exhibit starting in May and a Nancy Fest to launch it.
If interested, there are more details on the museum's FB page.

Rob Liefeld is retiring from doing anymore Deadpool comics after a project that is being released this summer. He wanted to go out on his terms. I', guessing that he doesn't want to be dumped at some future date like ever Marvel creator has gone through. If they can tell Claremont, Kirby, Ditko and Starlin, , we don't want you to do work for us, they will do it to him.

Credit where it’s do, his books sold. There’s no way they would have kept coming back to him. These comic companies are not charities. He wants to leave before they tell him , you suck , get out.
