Great adaptation, great film; but, Roger Moore's age was becoming an issue, especially with the gap between him and Lynn-Holly Johnson. Bond actually has to turn down a woman because it is too creepy. Now there's a first!

It was very rare for me to buy movie adaptations back then; I must have had some extra money. I haven't read it since then but I remember thinking the art was bad. It's Howard Chaykin inked by Vince Colletta. Oh dear.
