Congrats Paste Pot Paul . Love this topic and the many memorable covers that have been posted. Here's a personal favorite of mine, by Sekowsky-Anderson; love the arrangement and Anderson's detailing/textures.

The crystal ball motif was always a cool way to add the mystical the super set.

I trademarked my name two years ago. Swore I'd kill any turniphead that tried to use it

This was hard, because, frankly, most of these covers are just too many heroes jammed into too small a space.
They might have made for classic comics, but the JSA didn't lend itself to great covers.

icctrombone You got no idea how this messed with my head as a kid. JLA were cool, well sorta, but alternate versions. I instantly loved the Sogirty. How freaking cool was Jay with that helmet, or Doc Midnite, an what about dating Wildcat fella. Then it was topped off by these new guys. The Seven Soldiers of Victory, who I instantly adopted as MINE. Irrational so it was, it was a love affair that has lasted "ahem" mumble mumble years.
