I don't know how many of you still follow daily strips but I was catching up on Dick Tracy and I loved this bit:

I saw mention of this a while back but hadn't seen the actual comic. I really want to read the rest of it, now. Do you know approximately when this saw publication? I'm currently scouring through the archives at Go Comics and have gotten through the past month with no luck. EDIT: Found it! I believe the story arc begins here. Also, going back a bit further, I see Green Hornet, Kato, and Carmen Sandiego. I've got to start reading this! Also, love the nods to Mark Evanier and Scott Shaw.

Wow, what a shout out, that's so cool!
It galls me that growing up, the big city newspaper available in my hometown sucked at having adventure daily strips in their funny pages. Never read Dick Tracy, Flash Gordon, Phantom, Spider-Man, Star Wars, none of them. For a time, the only adventure strip I recall was the Adventures of Steve Roper and Mike Nomad which was decent but I had no clue as to it's background. Better than nothing but still, c'mon!
