I'm pretty sure I first saw it light blue, and I think it's better.

I saw his costume when he was introduced, but for name / visual association, I suppose the blue and white is a better fit.

I'm thinking the first time I saw the character was in the Amazing Adventures reprint of early X-Men title. If he was in Avengers #189 or 192-on, the first ones I had, he was only barely there and not memorable, so I voted based on seeing green first.

The green color scheme never made sense to me and I thought the light blue was a huge improvement from the moment I saw the cover of Avengers #75 in the spinner rack.

Honestly, I like them both. The green made a good contrast when he fought Cyclops in his blue outfit, a favorite Quicksilver appearance. And it looked better next to his sister. But the blue looks more heroic, somehow. And it goes better with his hair.

Green's my second favourite colour, so. . . .

I voted light blue though I saw green first. Light blue seems like the color of air if that makes sense, and closer to silver which is mercury. One thing I like about Pietro is his white hair. So many characters have primary yellow hair and he stood out alongside Magneto and Captain Marvel at one time as having white hair. Also Storm I guess too.

Green, is the best and the reason for that -- it's totally radical concept for a speed character and makes him unique and the white of his costume really "pops" and that alone is my preferred choice. This green costume back then -- is my Number One choice for Quicksilver because of addition of Olive Green to make it even better ... to give it more character and class. It's compliments -- Scarlet Witch Costume too -- because Green and Red are complementary colors, something that I learned in Junior HIgh School's Art Class.

My entirely subjective answer is that I prefer the green purely from an aesthetic point of view. I wasn't born when Quicksilver debuted, but I first encountered him in an old copy of Amazing Spider-Man #71 and he's still in the green in that issue.

I voted for Light blue, though I saw green first. The first time I saw Quicksilver was in a Marvel Triple Action reprint of X-Men #45, with the green costume. However, while I like the green costume, the blue costume just makes more sense for somebody named Quicksilver, though a silver of gray costume would make even more sense.

Definitely green for me. It's the way I first encountered him (Avengers #45) but aside from the nostalgia factor, it's a very vivid color scheme that contrasts nicely with his hair. It was a striking look. When he returned to the team in #75, I hated hated hated the new light blue costume. Quickie looked very monochromatic to me, what with the white hair and pale costume (with jarring black briefs). I understood why the color was changed by Roy/Marvel, obviously the light blue has more of a "silvery" connotation (as others have already noted). Also, when Pietro returned to the team there was now another prominent character in the book who was garbed in (mostly) green--the Vision--so that was likely another reason to change Quickie's color: don't want to confuse the callow new readers or the colorists, lol. But I still dislike the blue costume; it always reminds me of faded flannel PJ's or something

I think the green makes him look like a Christmas elf.
