Here's a card game I picked up last week. It's silly fun, with 2-5 players collaboratively matching colors in their hands with the requirements on various villains that present themselves. Each player is a hero (Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Rocket/Groot, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Medusa, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl) with a special ability and a side deck of unique cards. Thor is on the box cover but not in the game. The goal is to work your way through a pile of lesser villains to one of six final bosses you choose, in increasing difficulty from Green Goblin to Thanos. There are also two levels of difficulty for each boss which vary in how many cards you have to defeat before the boss. As the game name implies, there's a time limit for each game, enforced with a handy app in which Jarvis provides commentary to the countdown timer. With my fifteen year old and wife, we defeated Thanos with a few seconds to spare on our first try. I also play with my six year old without the timer (the game is rated 8+). A good time was had by all. There's not a lot of complexity, though some character choices make more or less sense depending on the number of players and which other characters are in play. The villain cards have humorous comments, but there's no time to read those in the heat of a five minute round.
