That book is arguably the best thing Pratchett (co-)wrote, so it's got a lot to live up to... and I'm not wildly enamoured of the trailer (as ever!), so I'm hoping the series transcends it

I read the book so long ago that I don't really remember it at all. Wasn't there a teenaged boy at the center of it? David Tennant looks like fun, so I am interested.

Looks great to me. And I know that Gaiman has been very much involved in the project. So I'm optimistic.

The book is basically "The Omen" (or similar coming of the child of the devil as harbringer of armageddon) but re-imagined as a Just William story

Thousands of people petition Netflix to cancel Amazon Prime's Good Omens. And not only were they petitioning the wrong company, they were calling for the cancellation of a series that's already ended. How stupid can these people get?

After watching the first episode, I'd be inclined to join a petition against it. Might have another go later, but I found it a very pale shadow of the book

I'm sure it won't be quite as good as the book (even with Gaiman involved in the show) but I'm sure it'll be entertaining.
