Sørenmrp and codystarbuck are Honorable Mentions; the reason for Søren vote is that the beautiful lady reminded me the movie Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed of I'm watching right now on TCM. Farrar is another beauty ... Too many great covers! {Picture}

Jesse. Hard to top Bob Larkin's brushes that brought a new dimension to subjects only seen in black and white.
Honorable mention: EdoBosnar.

Tough contest, so many worthy ones. Going with MDG for that painted Dell cover.

Wow! Three sentimental favorites on the first page of entries alone, but my vote goes to
EdoBosnar
for what was intended, I'm convinced, to be the final issue of Phantom Stranger, with the departure of both creative teams and a conclusion to both the PS and Spawn of Frankenstein stories. Hastily revived with an unsteady and (I thought at the time) inappropriate creative roster (Arnold Drake and Gerry Talaoc replacing Len Wein and Jim Aparo, Steve Skeates and Bernard Baily taking over for Marv Wolfman and Mike Kaluta), the series carried on, but was never the same again. Runner-up status to tarkintino, who offered the Classics Illustrated that was one of the few comics I got before diving in to collecting, even though their "monster" wasn't up to snuff, and brianf, with the remarkable debut of Kirby's misguided but fascinating version of Deadman in an issue of Forever People that is still seared into my memory!

chadwilliam I love that cover and it's probably the only thing that would draw my vote from Wrightson's Frankenstein.

As usual, voting for one is not indicative of a lack of charm and quality of the other entrants. I'm going with mw gallaher this week; I love everything about it. I was tempted to go with this one in the MW vein:
