Is it too much to ask for Marvel to at least make a coherent storyline for the FF relaunch. It seems that the Marvel 2-1 stories are completely broken.

I agree. MTIO started off strong but fizzled. Then it didn't synch with the FF relaunch which by itself stumbled a bit with the first 2 issues. IMO both titles don't really have the right artists on them.

IMO both titles don't really have the right artists on them. I really just don't understand why Marvel would invest so much on promoting a relaunch on one hand, and produce such defective writing and editing on the other. To the fans, it is a disaster. My kids will never see a realy Fantastic Four ever. Hanging plot points include how Susan contacted Johnny in the alternate universe. How Doom get back to earth. How Johnny and Ben get their powers back. How Franklins powers peeter out. What all the FF heros were doing when fighting Etropy.... just quickly rattled off my head.

I would argue that it just wasn't the FF. Marvel (& DC) have had some lackluster relaunchs recently. For every brilliant one like the Immortal Hulk we get the underwhelming Thor and Captain America.

I'm pretty much ok with the story in FF so far but not really feeling Sara Pichelli on the art, but I didn't really like Mike Wieringo's version either.
