In some ways, this is my favorite part of the event. I like scanning images to add to the write-ups. I'm lazy, I source 'em all online.  Yeah, that might be the way I do most of them these days, no time to do the digging through boxes. |

Think I've got my 12 choices sorted and in order now. It's been brutal though: some cherished favourites have had to be culled to get the list down to 12 entries. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would say that.

How many of repeats do you think we'll have in our selections? Well we're going to see a lot of the licensed properties, for sure -- Conan, Star Wars, Star Trek, Planet of the Apes. What I'm really looking forward to is the other stuff that isn't on most of our radars. This topic has the potential to get really obscure and strange. I can't wait! |

I'm pretty lousy at following rules of games sometimes, especially time dependent where I'd have to post or do something on a specific day, that's why I've missed the cover theme contest some of the time. I would undoubtedly screw this up so is it okay to say now what the top of my days-tree would be? I really liked Trina Robbin's adaption of Tanith Lee's The Silver Metal Lover. That's the first comic I think of in terms of successful adaptation.  I'll be reading but not participating as there may be entire days I won't even be online once. |
