Revisited, collected images, and wrote synopses for my selections #12 through #3 tonight, and man was it fun! As expected, my list changed slightly when it came time to do the write-ups. I also remembered another comic that technically qualifies for this event that has me tremendously excited. It's currently at my #3 spot.

Publishers : Harvey Pekar 1 ... Genres : Non-Fiction 3 ... Original sources of adaptations: Real Life Person 5 ... This hints pretty strongly at American Splendor, but wouldn't that fail to qualify, since the rules state " fictional adventures of real people"? |

Was almost tempted by my evil clone in splitting it half and half down the middle with ERB and REH! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHACOUGHWHEEZEHACKHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
So many options to choose from.
Should I go half and half with Star Trek/Star Wars?
Maybe just newspaper strips given over to comic book strips?
Just the Pulp novel characters given new comic life???
What about sword wielding hero' from books and movies leaping onto the comic pages?
Just cartoons going from animation to 2D in the comics?
Make it stop. Make it stop. Don't want our brain's exploding all over the computer screens from thinking so much on hard and complicated decisions!

I can't wait to participate.
Within a nanosecond of glancing the rules/requirements, I thought, 'I'll not come up with 12.' But within about a minute, I had more than 12, so the fun will be whittling them down to 12. And I hope my choices, as a first-time participant, will be good ones.

I neglected to keep the fictional in mind.
Well, there go the true exploits of lowly Harvey Pekar.
Drat ! but I had a lot on the list to pick from so it's not that bad.

No, the comic has to center on the real life person, at least for the particular issue cited. So the Marvel Team-Up guest starring the original SNL cast is eligible but not the cameos of Mohammad Ali and Howard Cosell in Iron Man #145.
