Picked this up last Saturday. Had you seen it, Crimebuster It's a reboot, a new origin, and ties in to another series called Crime Stoppers, which I guess spins out of Captain Canuck. Looks like they're planning a 4-issue mini. |

Looks like they're planning a 4-issue mini. I've ordered it from ebay, as my LCS didn't have it. This story was originally solicited at the end of 2021 as Lev Gleason Presents #9, which I had pre-ordered, but that series only went until issue #2 and the rest were never published. I'm glad that it finally has seen the light of day and I'm looking forward to reading it! But I'm skeptical that the 4-issue mini will ever happen, based on all the stuff they've announced in the past that has never actually come out. |

The first Crimebusters trade collection, which will collect issues #1-5 all now in full color, will be coming to Kickstarter in a few weeks!I still have some files to send to the colorist, but issues #1 and #3 have both been colored at this point, so I just need to get issue #2 colored and we'll have the whole series in color now. We've got an official launch date: The Crimebusters vol. 1 will be coming to Kickstarter on Wednesday, September 13!Here's the pre-launch link again. I'm working hard to get all the coloring finished on issues #2 and #3, as this whole volume will be in full color for the first time. The Kickstarter for The Crimebusters volume 1 trade paperback collection is now live!This is going to be a shorter campaign, just 16 days. I've got Quest #2 still to launch this year as well so there's not enough time on the calendar to do a longer campaign. Here's the Boy Comics variant cover, which is also an homage to Jim Steranko! Just one week left for The Crimebusters Volume 1 campaign!
This is going to be a nail-biter. I think we will likely fund, but this is the furthest away I've been with a week to go on any of my 11 campaigns, both in terms of % and $. I was hoping to bring in a new audience of trade-waiters for the collection, but that hasn't happened, so I think this is going to go right down to the wire.
We'll see how it goes! Thank you everyone for all the support, I appreciate it very much!

Just 69 hours left in the campaign for The Crimebusters Volume 1 and we're still $899 away from funding. This one is going to go right down to the wire I think. We'll find out soon enough I guess! 🤞

I'll have some stuff about Crimebusters #6 soon -- Mac is 2/3 done with the art (24 pages done, 12 to go), and I'm hoping to have the variant covers done soon. I just have to put the finishing touches on the trade and get that out to the publisher, and then finish getting stuff ready for the Quest #2 Kickstarter first. |

Well, it took longer than I expected, but The Crimebusters #6 is coming soon! Mac is still finishing up the art, but he's told me he expects to have it done within a month or so, so we are tenatively planning to launch the Kickstarter in mid-January. You can check out the pre-launch page here and click the "Notify me on launch" button to make sure you don't miss it. Here are some of the covers - I am still working on the Kickstarter Exclusive variant, and there will also be a special 5th Anniversary variant as well that isn't done yet.
