NOT AN ENTRYSo I saw the theme was "TIME'S RUNNING OUT!" and I thought of the perfect cover. A time-based character who ran out of time and got cancelled, the final cover literally showing time running out. Guaranteed win, couldn't be topped. Absolute genius! That cover?  Well, I figured, I might as well set up space on a shelf for my trophy right now. No one could come up with a more fitting cover than this, surely. But, hidden away in the rules all sneaky-like, is this - "...a run that didn't last more than 24 issues..."And what do we have here on this perfect cover? I will be in the alley, drinking heavily and losing on dice games.

Very abruptly informed that time had run out was this latecomer to the 70's "monster series" trend...  One more down in my personal CCCC secret challenge, leaves a maximum of 32, more likely 31, but perhaps as few as 23 to go! |
