I was surprised not to see the classic look in there. The "classic" look not being there doesn't really surprise me as it is more of a simplified traditional or generic kind of cartoon look that has received small tweaks since it's origin in 1969. That original style works well as 60's and 70's and 80's overall. These additional designs were all meant to evoke the actual century the depict with actual styles and designs which are known/popular. I particularly like the 20's and 30's and 60's and 70's looks.

Looking at these pictures -- I really liked the 1940's version the best.
Velma Dinkley -- is dressed like Rosie the Riveter Daphne Blake -- looks like a lot like Rita Hayworth Shaggy Rogers -- is wearing a Zoot Suit back then Fred Jones -- is a Marine, enlisted to join the fight against the Japanese

Zoot suits were more flamboyant....

Should have included Scooby, looking the same in any era, except maybe his dog tag.
