Growing up with Scooby and the Gang every Saturday morning was one of the simple joys of youth. Now that Scooby has soooo many series and movies and live action movies it is time to ask the question: Which Doo do you do?!?Choose 3 and a brief explanation please.
#1 for me is of course the original and classic Scooby Doo, Where are you! Such a great show that set up the tone and standard which has helped Scooby and the Gang endure for nearly 50 years now! The intro and music tells you immediately what you are tuning into. The chase/tunes inside the cartoon where all so fun and funny. The whole idea that the "monsters" are not really monsters but villains held up for a very long time and the catch phrase "and I would have gotten away with it if not for you pesky kids" is likely a part of everyone's genetic memory now.
#2 is What's New Scooby Doo? from the Fox Kids era. This show is a superb update of the original and a truly wonderful sister-act and feels like a true continuation from the original Where are you. Some really creative and inventive monsters for the new generation of kids which all hearken back to the classic.
#3 is Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Really neat twist from the original concept and a spectacular kind of "prequel" of all that is fantastic about Doo. Not to mention some insanely great writing along with some wild dream episodes incorporating other HB mystery shows/characters.
Special mention too for all of the straight to DVD cartoon movies which helped keep Scooby Doo alive for so many years until new series came along. A touch of love for 13 Ghosts and I always enjoyed the hour long Saturday New Scooby Doo Movies with guest stars and the LAff-A-Alympics were silly mindless fun.
So munch a box of Scooby Snacks or create your own colossal Shaggy sub-sandwich and gulp down a big frosty milk shake while enjoying some favorite Doo shows. You are guaranteed to find something great & fun to watch! Sooooooby Dooooooby Roooooooooooooooooooooo!

None of the above. The only Scooby-Doo for me is "Scoobynatural", the animated cross-over episode with Supernatural. Absolutely brilliant, as they incorporate lots of elements from both shows into the episode without making either seem superior to the other.

The original is my favorite (I still remember the time in grad school that Cartoon Network did a marathon of it on the day we fell back for the clock change to show all 26 episodes in "1" day and sitting through all of it (ah to be young, stupid and have free time and stamina to do such things).
For the other two, I picked the two that had nostagiac childhood ties (New Scooby Movies and Laff-A-lympics.
My favorite current incarnation of Scooby though is theScooby-Doo Team-Up comic from DC.

I voted for The New Scooby Doo Movies because Scooby and Batman! And Scooby and Don Knotts. Other than that only original Scooby Doo, Where Are You was watchable.

The original, which was new, when I was watching cartoons. Everybody copied the format of that thing, going into the 70s, especially H-B, themselves!
New Scooby Doo Movies is good; but, varies a bit, depending on the guest star. The ones with actual people (Dick Van Dyke, Sandy Duncan, etc...) are really not as good as the ones with fictional characters or personas (like Jonathan Winters doing Ma Fricker).
The Scooby portion of Scooby Doo Dyno Mutt were pretty decent, if a step down. The Dyno Mutt stuff was great, for the most part (couple of clinkers in there). After that, they go downhill fast, especially when that SOB Scrappy is introduced.
A Pup Named Scooby Doo was kind of fun and was self aware enough to be entertaining. Aside from the early direct-to-video updates (Zombie Island, etc) I haven't seen much of the modern stuff (except for the Blue Falcon DVD).

Mystery Incorporated was amazing. Of course I dug Scooby Meets Batman. And the direct to video releases started off incredibly strong with Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost.

The original, most likely, but The Scooby-Doo Show (1976-78) is one I have a soft spot for. "Scared a Lot in Camelot" is one of my favourite episodes.
I've enjoyed most incarnations. Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness is one of my favourites as far as the modern direct-to-DVD adventures are concerned. I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I'm amazed at how much longevity there is for a franchise that pretty much repeats itself time after time.
Scooby-Doo Team-Up is a comic I buy regularly. I remember the one where the Scooby Gang teamed up with Batman and Robin to go after Man-Bat. I can't remember the exact dialogue, but Bats mentioned how criminals were a cowardly and superstitious lot - and Shaggy, pointing at himself and Scooby, said something like, "So are we!"
I didn't like the cartoons where the monsters were real. The fun for me was always the unmasking.

None of the above. I hate Scooby-Doo in all its incarnations. Always have, always will.

Scooby Doo, Where Are You? by far. Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics was good, too.
