I got the regular size trade today (I gave up on finding the singles).. excellent stuff. I love Inspector Ishida, even if Usagi ends up being a minor character in the book when he's the star. Very interesting stuff about the hidden Christians... it's amazing to me how much history go into these stories!

I got the regular size trade today (I gave up on finding the singles).. excellent stuff. I love Inspector Ishida, even if Usagi ends up being a minor character in the book when he's the star. Very interesting stuff about the hidden Christians... it's amazing to me how much history go into these stories! It's definitely an Usagi-lite story but the mystery was fun none the less. |

Glad this is finally out. Hopefully, we will see Dark Horse release its final Saga collection soon after.

I'm also a Usagi Yojimbo saga reader... Any news on an eventual final volume? IDW has started selling its own collections, so I'm a little worried.

I've heard nothing. Of course, IDW has not printed a hardcover version of its first collection yet, leaving me to wonder if they are in talks to either merge into the Saga editions or begin a set of Saga-like editions of their own. |

News from Stan on facebook: "Covid really messed up publishing schedules. Saga 9, which was supposed to be released this summer, will have to be rescheduled. The other Saga books will be reprinted beginning in 2021, and I don't know if Saga 9 will be printed first or after 8." |
