Wilde ThingI was trying to create an anaglyphic image from scratch without having any idea what I was doing. Predictably the effect failed to work, so I tailored it into a pseudo-Lichtensteinian pop art piece. Dunno how much artistic value it has, but I like it.

I wanted to see if I could have any success recreating the Ben-Day look, so I experimented on my Superman drawing. The results aren't perfect, but certainly not terrible for a first try.

Last Son of Krypton, Last Daughter of Argo (WIP) Started work on this last night. Decided to try my hand at a Jerry Ordway-styled Superman this time around. I also gave Supergirl the original Al Plastino hairstyle.

Last Son of Krypton, Last Daughter of ArgoNever thought I'd wake to the day when I'd draw a Kryptonian thought-beast.... So I went back to red trunks for Supes. Black trunks looked alright, but the colour balance was off; they didn't go with the yellow belt all that well, and I tried a red belt but it looked horrid. Guess I should've known better than to think I could improve on perfection.

Bartman vs. The MoestroyerDrew this c. 2012. It's based on a crappy fanfic I wrote in 1997 for a school assignment. The linework's alright, but the crosshatching is ... suspect. I'm thinking of erasing the shading, perhaps adding a background, and colouring it.

Jor-El & Lara-Van (Universe 1)Due to convergent evolution, Kryptonians were near-exact genetic duplicates of Terran humans. Owing to the greater age of their race, however, Kryptonians were further along the evolutionary path; they lacked the body hair of their Terran cousins, and their physiques were more robust, with a powerful immune system and healing factor enabling an average lifespan exceeding 200 years. Kryptonian society was completely egalitarian. Sons were born into the houses of their fathers, daughters into the houses of their mothers. Though a sexual race, Kryptonians relied on artificial "birthing matrices" to reproduce; natural gestation/birth was considered an inefficient, barbaric practice and was almost unheard of by the time of their demise. Genetically bound to their planet, the population of Krypton could not relocate en masse to Earth in the face of their world's destruction. Instead, they created 144,000 genetically modified embryoes, tailored to enhance their resemblance to Terrans and grant them abilities which would make them living gods on Earth. Of these 144,000 "new" Kryptonians, only a handful survived to make it to their new colony and grow to maturity. Among them was Kal-El, biological son of Jor-El and his wife, Lara-Van. Spider-Man: Universe Two (WIP) I plan on making this similar to my earlier Superman piece, with images of people and events from Pete's life in the background.

Ideal (WIP) I haven't attempted a drawing with detailed shading since 2017, and haven't completed one since 2014, and I remember why; it's frikkin' exhausting.

I wasn't satisfied with the previous drawing, so I scrapped it and started anew. I'm not sure what this forum's stance on artistic nudes is, so I decided to err on the side of caution. In case anyone's wondering, the drawing's of a muscular woman without synthetic enhancements, explaining the lack of certain secondary sexual characteristics.

DreamgirlUncoloured version looks better, if I'm brutally honest. Colouring's never been my strong suit.

Truly awesome pictures! You have quite an eye for composition and what makes for an interesting or creatively beautiful picture.

After pushing it aside several months ago, I've resumed work on my latest Superman drawing. My fiftieth attempt at the very same drawing, which is why I put it aside for so long. But I'm determined to do the best job I can at bringing this character as I envision him inside my head to life on paper. I've also begun a Clark drawing.

After months of procrastination, I finally started that She-Hulk drawing I've been meaning to draw for months now. Shading is certainly not my forte; definitely gonna have to do much tweaking on that front before I'm through. Since I'm a strong advocate for real time superheroes, and because I want to have fun with this, I plan on making ten variants of this drawing spanning 1980-2010, showcasing Jenn's evolving costumes/fashion sense across those thirty years.
