ok. . seeing the solicits, I realize this is a Thor/Avengers event (tho also tying in the Asguardians of the Galaxy book)
but I'm not seeing *any* X-Men in any of the solicits (other than Wolverine in some of the promo art).
Wolverine is (stupid or not), an Avenger as well as an X-man
but so is Beast
and Storm is still an Asguardian Goddess, and Danielle Moonstar is still tied to the Valkyries. . are they not?
so why aren't the X-men in this gigantic event?

No idea, but with $110 worth of War of the Realms tie ins in May alone, you think they could squeeze some X-Men in there somehow and there is one Uncanny X-Men spinoff issue tied in according to the solicits. From Bleeding CoolThe X-Men are going through their own event/reboot/revamp though aren't they? So maybe the X-editors wanted to steer them clear? I haven't really been paying much attention to the Marvel solicits, I just read what interested me when it shows up on Unlimited and ignore the rest. -M

I'm down for that.

That's a pretty cool looking team, but these events lately always suck... perhaps if it gets good reviews and the trade isn't too expensive.

The only ones I recognize are Wiccan and Hulkling from Young Avengers, Silk, Jimmy Woo and Shang Chi.

Crescent (Little Girl w/ Spirit Bear) and Luna Snow (white haired pop singer) are tie-ins created for a phone game I was playing for a while. The ap is developed in South Korea and the developers/players wanted more Korean characters.

The X-Men have just begun their own event, The Age of X-Man, in which they are trapped in yet another alternate time/reality. This event runs through, I think, 4 or 5 different limited series focusing on different team members and aspects of this new reality.
The only X-Men currently still in the 'real' MU are Cyclops, Wolverine, and the new X-Force. Plus Logan is somehow involved with the Infinity stones now too so I don't know if that could draw him into the War or further push him out of it.

I've not read any of the comics with Cho in Hulk form so no idea what his green look is. -M
