You will not regret this, shax! It's a treasure trove. I've heard so many greats sing Kelly's praise. Really, this is overdue. And he can do anything with his drawings and his words: satire, romance, whimsy, rue, innocence, poignance, slapstick, you name it, Kelly does it. Enjoy!

Calvin and Hobbes and Pogo.
Comic books tend to be a different beast and have changed over time. But I can always read Sandman and Preacher. But they aren't necessarily "feel good."

Gosh, lots of stuff, to be honest. Even though I like many different types of comics, including the more heavy, serious stuff, I kind of always think of comics in general as literary comfort food. Anyway, like a few others here, Archie and Disney Ducks (by Barks and Rosa) are go-to feel good comics for me, as are number of favorite super-hero titles from the 1960s through 1980s, really too many to list. Also - and just recently I read or re-read a bunch of these - many, many Elseworlds, esp. Davis and Farmer's Nail and Another Nail and Superboy's Legion, Byrne's Generations I and II, any of the ones written (and occasionally drawn) by Chaykin, and so many more. *Edited to add: on the topic of Elseworlds, Batman & Captain America - simultaneously the best cross-over ever. And speaking of excellent crossovers, JLA & Avengers is another fun, feel-good story.
And some more recent comics really geared for kids but which I find so damned cute and fun: Ben Hatke's Zita the Spacegirl books and the various Franklin Richards: Son of Genius comics.

Yes indeed for Team-ups. Both MTU and MTIO were staples of my youth getting (and missing ) issues whenever I could. Always fun seeing who would pop up in issues. DC Comics Presents was pretty sweet in the beginning but for me it was always an ill conceived title used only as a marketing tool. When does Superman really need another heroes help?

Well, team-up titles are definitely among the "favorite super-hero titles from the 1960s through 1980s" I mentioned above. It was a wonderful alphabet soup - B&B, MTU, MTIO, DCCP - of titles packed with all kinds of goodies (just like a good soup should).

Legion of Super-Heroes, from the late 60's through the mid-80's Micronauts Bronze Age Avengers Any Bronze Age team-up comic, especially Marvel Two-in-One Giffen/DeMatties justice League I think I may have to add All-Star Squadron to the list, though it's relatively new to my collection, but it's so good I foresee it being a go to feel good comic for me.
Oh, if we're talking comic strips, then Calvin & Hobbes Bloom County Those are the main ones, but Peanuts (especially from the 50's through 70's) and the first couple of years or so of Calvin & Hobbes. I also used to have a digest sized Dennis the Menace (I think it may have been a Christmas special) that I used to read once a year.

I agree the team up titles captured the best of what I liked about comics back then. I also loved the Byrne Batman/Capt America crossover. It is probably my favorite single issue ever.
And Calvin & Hobbes snowmen strips are the absolute best strips to make me laugh out loud.

Those nutty Silver Age Superman comics. Imaginary Stories! Weird transformations! Bizarros! The nuttier the better! QFT. In terms of lightening my "mind and heart and mood" (great topic brutalis ) nothing beats a Silver Age Superman-family comic. LOVE the Imaginary Tales (have a couple of the trades and some back issues); and the escapades of my beloved Schaffenberger Lois never fails to make me smile.
