I trademarked my name two years ago. Swore I'd kill any turniphead that tried to use it

I'm trying to remember where I read a story about this team that involves one of them being murdered and one of the team mates did it.

I'm a sucker for the Katzenjammer Kids. They never fail to make me laugh. Have you ever read the MAD version? It's in one of the early comic-book issues. It's called The Klatchandhammer Kids. It's one of the funniest things that was ever in MAD.

Hoosier, I am sorry to keep doing this, but I can never see your images. What have you shared?

Hoosier, I am sorry to keep doing this, but I can never see your images. What have you shared? Little Lotta #103. I scanned all the Little Dot covers I could find and there were spotted dogs and spotted cats, a giraffe, an elephant, an octopus, various leopards and even on with a number of barnyard animals … but no pigs! Then I went to Little Lotta … I wasn't nearly as big a fan of Lotta when I was a kid. There are some weird covers in there! Including one where she's just taken a bite out of a stuffed whale at a museum! Lotta needs help!

It's one of the funniest things that was ever in MAD. I searched for The Katchandhammer Kids hoping to find a few panels to post to maybe give an idea what it's like … and I found the whole story! I can't get the link to work. But I found it at a blog called "Inside Jeff Overturf's Head" for October 8, 2012.

Thanks for that Hoosier. I wasn't aware.
I'm amazed this strip hasn't been collected. If it has, I'm not aware of it.

Weirdo #14 by R. Crumb I'll bet the farm that's an R. Crumb cover. (And no not because I recognize his art by sight but because I recognize how he draws women by sight.) Edit: Thank god it's Friday as I am now just seeing he signed the cover after I made my post. I need caffeine.
