Wow the great Mort Drucker did a comic book cover. Did he do any others ? GCD also credits him with Abbot and Costello Comics #22, Adventures of Bob Hope #61, 67, 69-71, 73-77, 80-83, 85-87 & 89-91, Adventures of Jerry Lewis #72, Billy Buckskin #3, Blazing Western #4, Crime Detector #4, A Date With Judy #79, the Fox and the Crow #95-103 & 108 and Lucy #3. I used to occasionally buy beat-up Atlas war comics from the 1950s and early 1960s - like Battle, Navy Action, War Comics, etc. - and I'm pretty sure I saw some Mort Drucker art. I'll have to dig them out if I get a chance. |

I see several of us had the same idea. It's bizarrely comforting to know that there is one consistent thing in life - Superman will always be a jerk. And always has been, even as Superboy.
It's also interesting that no matter what the subject of the Cover Contest, there's probably a Silver Age Superman cover that fits.
