or better yet
"So THAT'S where Axel went".
Here's your link to CBR's story AWA I'm not a Jemas fan, but he raised $ 5M to get this off the ground, and between the both of them, they're well connected.
Looks really interesting and I like that's it's more than superheroes.

Ordinarily I'd say the more the merrier, and that competition is always good. But with all the talk of DC downsizing their line and publishers putting out too many comic books, how does a startup publisher fit into this market?

Ordinarily I'd say the more the merrier, and that competition is always good. But with all the talk of DC downsizing their line and publishers putting out too many comic books, how does a startup publisher fit into this market? There are plenty of "start up" publishers doing extremely well-they are mostly new GN imprints form traditional book publishers that are finding audiences outside the direct market in the traditional book market and are forgoing periodical formats for OGNs. And most are not doing super-heroes, and many are targeting young readers and young adult readers with their products. There's room for more publishers putting out content that readers actually want, it's just not in the ghetto market of Diamond Distribution where the majority of customers are Wednesday Warriors who only want their weekly Marvel/DC fix. -M

Don't "Artist" and "Artisan" mean the same thing?
Interesting that JMS has been tapped to come up with the origin of superheroes in this world. Will it involve a meteorite that seeds humanity?

Who knows, but I really like the sounds of this despite Bill Jackass Jemas being involved.
