Kurt and I visited Mike Grell's table at Emerald City Con earlier this month. He had a placard on his table advertising this Kickstarter. The headline at the top of the placard said, "MAGGGIE'S BACK!" - yes, with three G's. As we concluded our visit, I wished him luck with the Kickstarter and asked if the extra G was intentional. He looked at it for a moment and then roared with laughter. He'd never noticed it.

I keep going back and forth on this. It's kind of expensive. But I do like Maggie. But I've supported a lot of Kickstarters lately.

I keep going back and forth on this. It's kind of expensive. But I do like Maggie. But I've supported a lot of Kickstarters lately. I'm in the same place. I have a standing self-imposed rule of not having more than 3 outstanding/unfulfilled kickstarters backed, and only backing something new once I get the fulfillment on the ones I backed. I currently have 2 outstanding kickstarters backed, so am being real picky about backing a 3rd. -M |

I still haven't pledged, but if I do, it'll be for the PDF version, which is what I usually do for these Kickstarters - the shipping charges to Europe for the physical books are way too much for my budget (e.g. for this one it's $40).
