old bronze age Swamp Thing with the House of Secrets debut, Swampy is pretty much old classic "gothic" murder revenge horror from the grave which reminds me a little bit of the old EC comics stuff A little. EC was a big influence on Wrightson. Gothic horror in general also. Moore's books have a different take on Swampy, but brilliant none the less.

Well, I mean, there's Swamp Thing and the Swamp Force, Swamp Thing Two-In-One, Swamp Thing's Girl Friend Swamalettina, Hoppy the Swamp Thing Bunny... X-Men were known for metastasizing into a dozen titles, but when I got to researching the LSH in the 90s, my head started swimming with all the different overlapping series DC was vomiting out. The Legion had handy triangles to make it very clear... and it was only 2 books. I'll grand you the Zero Hour era did end messily though with 'Legion Worlds', the Legion, and Legion Lost. The issue is the multiple reboots more than too many titles.

I think there was also a period in the early 90s when L.E.G.I.ON., Five Years Later, and Legionnaires ran concurrently as well.

The Triangle were after that..alot like what they did with the Superman books. L.E.G.I.O.N. really didn't connect at all that I ever read (though I haven't read the whole thing)... it was just a team with some connections to the Legion in current continuity. Legionnaires during the Five Year Later era I think was just side arcs.. it wasn't until after the zero hour reboot that it was intergrated.
