These look like reprints of American Comics, against the criteria of the contest. Come on tark, there so so much great work from European artist, you can find something better. Some of the TV adaptations were UK-based, not Gold Key/Dell reprints, hence the reason I posted it here. But, I have changed my choice to one that featured the work of Mike Noble (instead of Giolitti for Gold Key's version).

I think this cover by Charles Burns was a modified version of the cover from an American comic, Dope Comix #5. Yes it was. And Burns is American. Sorry hondo, there are plenty more to choose from.
