I think this cover by Charles Burns was a modified version of the cover from an American comic, Dope Comix #5.
You're right.
Dope Comix came first.
EdoBosnar emailed me but I'm signing on here just hours before closing so I guess I let it go. With 3 likes it's not going to win anyway so no harm no foul.
If it weren't for a party I was at yesterday, I would've checked my email and gotten it changed earlier.
It took me a while before I found the publication date and see that yes Dope Comix came first.
