Thanks, as always to everyone who participated and helped the event fulfill its intended purpose -- to celebrate the community and its amazing membership. And a heartfelt congratulations to every member of this community, whether you won, were nominated, or just deserved to be. There were only ten awards to go around, but we all make this place what it is. Thank you!
The awards are 792 x 200, and are designed to be the ideal size to work as a banner for those who feel like rightfully flaunting their win. After all, it's not really bragging if we voted to give you the honor in the first place

THE RESULTS
The Professor Xavier Award for Best Discussion Starter
"His threads sparked many discussions... some which got a little heated!"
Favorite Classic Comic (non-review) Thread
"There were so many bad ideas over the decades. It was neat to discuss them in one place. It made me feel like I was in a LCS discussing stories."
he Brother Power the Geek Award for Funniest Member
"Cmon, that rabbit tells it all. But besides that he’s had some nice quips to some of the threads on the forum. Always good natured with less snark."
Favorite Beyond The Back Issues Thread
"Not only has it given the community a great springboard to discuss the pros and cons of the direct market comics establishment but it's also proven to be a place to discuss our own personal experiences(both good and bad) in our local shops and reflect on times gone bye."
The Krypto Award for Friendliest member
"His posts are always exceedingly friendly and he never seems to get annoyed with anyone."
Favorite Original Fiction or Art piece
"...because man that's dedication."
The Uatu Award: Most knowledgeable Member
"for his knowledge of the business side of the funnybook business and his willingness to tell it like it is, not how we want it to be. Oh...and toys. And other things. "
Favorite Review Thread
"I find the level of depth in Confessor's reviews to be utterly fascinating and so carefully considered. I almost feel like I get more out of the series reading his thoughts than I would reading the actual work myself. It encourages me to read and enjoy sequential art on a deeper level in general; it teaches me how to think about what I read."
The Jasper Sitwell Award for Best New Member
"This member is full of great information and always give it a personal touch to her post and I wished this member shared more."
The Captain Jim Zimmerman Award for Best Overall Member Who Most Exemplifies the Spirit of the CCF
"It's long past time he received the recognition he deserves for starting this community and nurturing it during its early days."
A heartfelt congratulations to all of our winners, nominees, and participants. Thanks, EVERYONE, for a fifth amazing year at the CCF. Here's to the sixth!
