^That was going to be my second choice. It probably isn't any more, but "bondage cover" actually used to be noted in comic book price guides. "Headlights" was another... In part, due to Wertham singling out those themes (especially with that Phantom Lady cover); but, because that did sell a ton of comics. Sheldon Meyer spoke of the letters they used to get for the Golden Age Wonder Woman. DC seemed to go through a renaissance of this, under Carmine, on the covers. Lois and Wonder Woman were tied up quite a bit there, on early 70s covers. Notice who did the cover on those two Spider-Woman covers? You could post about every 2nd or 3rd Hillman comic, with this theme.
