Will be picking mine up Friday after work at the LCS!
Update: picked it up Saturday instead. Really wonderful cover! Demon Puppets from Hell, really scary idea and neat to see Stan's take on this. Fun to see Usagi/Sasuke interactions and how Sasuke "teases" with reading the most obvious thoughts of Usagi. Wonderful reaction of Usagi when he finally realizes that Sasuke is never around unless there is evil in the area. Splendid fight with Sasuke and the demon brood and that is one big ugly mother of a demon. Have to wonder/ask where does Stan get many of the designs for all the different monsters and demons in his stories? Are his renditions based on traditional Japanese designs or does he let his own inner designer riff from basic Japanese descriptions? Curiosity...

It sold so well that it's going back to print for the first time since the Fantagraphics years (issue #1 and #10). The second printing will have an all new cover.

I switched from trade waiting to picking up single issues with the move to IDW, so it worked as a jumping on point of sorts for me. -M |

It took me twelve years to give up on floppies and switch to trades. It's going to take me a while to switch back again, but I admit the temptation is certainly there!

It is Usagi in color, so that is something to consider. Besides, I have been buying the singles for years and then trading them in once the Saga book comes out with the issues. While I will occasionally hold onto some of the floppies to carry around for quick reads. You can NEVER have too much Yojimbo in your life:D |

Had to do some serious "Does it spark joy?" With myself. It helped that I was extremely tight on money post-divorce and had a friend who wanted to buy much of my stuff. |
