Usually in the Christmas classic, we get 30 or so people participating in it. This topic was right up the alley of comic book fans. I’m really surprised at least half that number didn’t represent. That’s why I think the time of year late June early July had a role in the absent members. I couldn't as I was very busy when it started and then had to be out of town and had no computer access beyond my wife's phone. Otherwise I would have. I agree with what Shax was saying about events like these forcing you to think imaginatively and/or go beyond your usual area of interest. Even in playing along, so to speak, I realized I had more ideas than I originally had thought I would, including some older and more obscure ones. I'll just have to save them for another event. I enjoyed reading about these entries, most of which were new to me, and that's part of the fun. Thanks to shaxper and all of the participants! PS: My Number One was probably going to be Jackie Johnson vs. the Nazi boxer. Classic.
