Adventures of the Invisible Man #1?  Sorry, taxidriver! I had a very busy day yesterday and I completely forgot to post which cover I entered in the contest! It's The Secret Society of Super-Villains #3! With Kirby creations Darkseid, Kalibak and Mantis the Power Parasite mixing it up with Grodd, the Manhunter, Sinestro and Captain Boomerang! I always say that I don't really like Darkseid unless Kirby is writing him. But then I remember the Darkseid storyline in the earliest issues of the Secret Society of Super-Villains! It was the first place I ever saw Darkseid. I had never even heard of him before! And I was like "What is going on? The Secret Society are the good guys because THESE dudes are even worse!" So cool! |
