I'm glad to hear it airs over there, Cody! :-) It doesn't. We have to wait for someone to upload it to Youtube and hope it stays up long enough for us to see it, before the BBC makes them take it down. Same for QI, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (and * out of 10 Cats) and pretty much any other UK panel show or Christmas special. The Daily Show is out topical mocking of the day's news, while Saturday Night Live handles the week's satire, though the Daily Show has a better batting average for their jokes. Americans have to miss out on the insanity that is Brian Blessed as a guest host.

Any views on Brother Love?
He truly was the guy to hate back in the day. Great job by Bruce Prichard. I remember *literally* shouting when Jake Roberts accidentally DDTd Brother Love on "The Brother Love Show". Jake had been blinded by Rick Martel's cologne spray. Martel and Brother Love were taunting a blinded Jake during the show. Officials came to take Martel away, Brother Love started cackling, but Jake, no doubt thinking Brother Love was Martel, DDTd him. Piper and McMahon were commentating and Piper began shouting, "Yes, yes, yes!"
And I was ecstatic when Brother Love's career ended after the Ultimate Warrior destroyed his set!

Brother Love
He introduced the enduring legacy of the Undertaker that was introduced back in November 22nd, 1990 ... Survivor Series 1990 and to me he was that important and a year later he literally gone from WWF/WWE. I followed his career in 1990 and 1991 and that was the end of his career over the incident of being a charleton that was not accepted by everybody. That killed his career and came back later in the mid-1990 and I did not see much of him and his time at TNA as well.
That's pretty much sums up his career in Pro Wrestling.
I'm pretty much neutral on him

It's odd to think of Brother Love, dressed in white, managing the Undertaker. Taker seemed so unstoppable not long after he debuted. I remember being surprised when he defeated Tugboat. How could anyone defeat Tugboat?

Goldberg match with Big ShowBig Show is over 380 pounds ... this is insane. You do have to keep in mind, the guy administering the vertical suplex acts as a base, while the receiving wrestler kicks his feet in the air. Big Show was pretty agile, until his weight got out of control (he's since got it under control and built up muscle to where he's in the best shape of his career). He could throw a standing dropkick, in his rookie days. His biggest problem was that he was often lazy and had the wrong people in his ear, for some time. Once he was in the WWE, he eventually got his head on straight. Goldberg was strong enough to lift most guys, in some fashion. I doubt he would have gotten a vertical suplex on Viscera or Abdullah the Butcher. Tenta might have been able to go up for it. Andre, in his young days, could go up for stuff like that, for people he respected, like Harley Race. That kind of thing was rare, though, as they tried to maintain his mystique.

Should Hacksaw Jim Duggan have won a title in the WWF?
I must admit, I was rooting for him to beat Shawn Michaels on Monday Night Raw for the Intercontinental Championship. They battled in 1993. At one point, Michaels left the ring, complaining about how he couldn't concentrate with all the noise. Hacksaw bounced him around like a rubber ball. I really thought Hacksaw was going to do it.
I wouldn't have minded seeing Duggan and Slaughter win the WWF Tag Team Championship from Money Inc. But I know Money Inc. were busy with the Natural Disasters at the time.
I will say this: it was a bizarre sight seeing Duggan take the United States Heavyweight Championship from Steve Austin in just over half a minute! That is not how I'd have booked it.

As I said many pages back, as a kid, I was pushing for the WWF to introduce an Intercontinental Tag Team Championship. It'd have been nice, at least for me. While the A-teams battled over the main tag team championship, the likes of the Beverly Brothers and Hacksaw Jim Duggan/Sgt. Slaughter could have battled for an intercontinental tag team championship.
I find it ironic that at a time (1987-1991) when there was probably enough tag team depth to have a second tag title, we didn't have one, yet in later years we had the Raw and SmackDown tag team titles despite there being little depth to the tag team division.

In the 70's WCW had for several years the US Tag Team Titles and it was defended on an infrequent basis.

I think you meant the 80s, though there were various US and World tag titles in various NWA promotions, at different times.
The Crockett/WCW US tag titles were introduced for the Midnight Express, as Crockett had enough tag-team talent for two sets of titles. They were used pretty consistently, until the Turner buyout.
I don't know that the WWF had enough tag talent for two titles. At different stages, yes; but, Vince was never big on tag-teams, so teams would kind of come and go.
Dugan, like Sgt Slaughter, was a guy who was over, without a title. You could have him win one, but, it didn't really change how the fans reacted and he'd have to lose it to someone. For him, being the American Hero was his title.
