I definitely feel imprints can serve a purpose. And allow for much creativity. It's a bit like how WWE has NXT and (oh shut up, Taxi Driver, with your lame attempts to create wrestling parallels wherever you go in life!).
I feel there needs to be clarity. I'm not sure what the clarity of "Black Label" is. And it reminds me of a beer we have here, Carling Black Label.
Was All-Star an imprint or more of a brand?
There's no reason why comic companies can't diversify and have imprints. True, it's best not to overdo it and have 30+ imprints, but a few never hurts.

Oh, cool, thank you!
It actually seemed a little insane that it lasted 50 issues - Even when Scooby Doo was at his most popular he never had a series last 50 issues, and NO team-up book has run 50 issues since DC Comics Presents was cancelled 30-odd years ago.
