I fully realize this thread is likely to become a dud, but I was thrilled to find I actually own a book published in September of 1959!
Walt Disney's Donald Duck #68

I think I have a couple from this month, but after looking at the covers, I'm still not sure! I have a lot of romance books, and I've also spent a lot of time looking through ebay at romance books, and I can't recall which ones I have and which ones I've just seen 400 times on ebay.
I'm pretty sure I have Falling in Love #31 at least.

I have both Detective Comics #273 and Tomahawk #65, but bought them years later, of course.

I see I had Blackhawk #142, and (cover dated January 1960) Adventures Of The Fly #4. I had some DC Westerns and Fox And The Crows from around these years but not one of them from this late 1959 point. I thought this Action looked like the one I would've wanted to read: bad Supergirl, bad! The Adventure with an early Legion cover story would've been the collector's choice though.

I hadn't been born yet, and I must admit that there isn't much there that attracts me. Interesting to see how many tv tie-ins there were, though! I remember watching some of those shows as a small kid later in the 60s - 77 Sunset Strip, Sea Hunt, Have Gun Will Travel - and recognise the names of most of the others thogh I don't recall ever seeing them.

The only book from this month I have acquired is Brave & the Bold 35, the second Hawkman installment, and I got that just last year.

Comics I acquired as an adult published in April 1961: Batman #140 Part of the big run at the center of my collection: Batman #100-713. I have not yet read a lot of these earlier ones, and I'm pretty sure that includes this particular issue. Such a fun era, but only in small doses! Detective Comics #292 Haven't read this one yet, either. My 'Tec run is a lot spottier than my Batman one, but I happen to have this one. Superboy #89 Literally just bought this one last week and intend to read it soon. 1st appearance of Mon-El. I've been getting my Legion on, as of late!

I love Detective Comics #292. I haven’t read it in a while so I just yanked it out to read it again. It’s so nuts!
If you have all those Batmans, you should read the Mirror Man story in #157! It cracks me up!
I wish they would bring back the Mirror Man. They should start with a scene showing him in the section of Arkham Asylum where they keep all the looneys who think Bruce Wayne is Batman.
