Weird message?

I've seen this message below twice now in the last 15 minutes, once when logging in, once to CCF and then to the site Book Bub, from my gmail.

I quickly went back to the original page and everything was fine afterwards.

Anyone think there's anything to this, or is just a scam?

Here's the message.

Help improve Safe Browsing by sending some system information and page content to Google. Privacy policy

Then it has a button to return you to your "safe space" or words to that effect. Made me leery. Just got out of the page.

About a year back, chrome introduced a new standard of expecting all websites to have https encryption (which had previously only been used on sites handling sensitive financial and personal information). As a result, sometimes when you visit a site not using https, you get a warning about the site being unsafe. Proboards is working to make the move to https encryption, but it isn't there yet.
